War of Genesis: Idle Loot Steam Idle Loot vs mobile Idle Heroes

Search engines mash together every product that contains “War of Genesis.” Commanders then paste mobile coupons into Steam, or they wait for a phone port that was never promised. This page splits the two New Normal Soft Inc. idle games and walls off a third, older property.

The three names people confuse

War of Genesis: Idle Loot is a free-to-play Windows idle loot RPG on Steam (app 4891320). A 3D Swordsman, Archer, or Mage sits on your desktop, clears stages with no combat stick, and rolls gear you can list on the Steam Community Market. Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. The in-game address for players is Commander, including on Marketplace UI.

War of Genesis: Idle Heroes is a separate mobile idle RPG from the same studio. It uses a phone UI, a coupon flow (sites still push strings such as THANKSGENESIS), and a hero-collection loop. It is not a Steam overlay, it does not list loot on the Community Market, and it does not share a Steam account bind with Idle Loot.

The War of Genesis (1990s Softmax SRPG) is a Korean tactical series. It is not an idle game, not a New Normal Soft product, and not this wiki’s subject. If a page talks about turn-based maps and 1990s ROM dumps, you have left Idle Loot.

None of these is a Roblox experience. Idle Loot is a Steam Windows client. Linking it as a Roblox wiki, or stuffing “Roblox” into the title, is a category error.

What does not transfer

Idle Loot is Windows 10/11 via Steam: a desktop overlay, three classes, Steam Community Market listings that cost a Diamond, and no confirmed public coupon list as of September 2026. Idle Heroes is a phone idle RPG with coupon blogs, a hero roster, and no Steam Market. Progress does not bind. There is no cross-play. A starter-guide comment already had to say the mobile product does not sync here. Treat that as the rule until New Normal Soft posts a bind tool on Steam News.

Why the mix-up keeps happening

Both titles reuse the Genesis IP, the same developer name, and idle-RPG vocabulary. Coupon blogs title articles “War of Genesis codes” without saying which client. Google shows THANKSGENESIS next to Steam screenshots. Players who just finished Getting Started hunt for a hamburger menu that only exists on phones. Other “Genesis” mobile games with cube codes are even further away.

Idle Loot’s scarce listing token is the Diamond (about one every four hours). Spending it is a Steam-Market decision, covered in the marketplace guide. Mobile coupons will not mint Diamonds here.

How to tell which page you are on

• Steam store URL contains /app/4891320/ and the title [WoG] War of Genesis: Idle Loot.
• Official socials: X @GenesisIdleLoot and Discord invite GyYs on the links hub.
• Classes named Swordsman, Archer, Mage — not a ten-hero gacha banner.
• Overlay talk: transparent desktop window, unsigned executable on Windows 11, DirectX 11. That language belongs on system requirements.
• Mobile Idle Heroes talk: Enter Coupon, three-line menus, Google Play / App Store package names.

If a guide tells you to tap a coupon box before it tells you to pick a class tree, it is not documenting Steam Idle Loot. Come back to the codes hub instead of following that click path.

What to do with a mobile code you already copied

Do not try it on Steam “just in case.” Redeem Idle Heroes coupons only inside Idle Heroes. For Steam Idle Loot, watch News and Discord; this wiki will list a Steam string on the codes hub if one appears.

Mobile build articles will not rank the Swordsman, Archer, or Mage overlay kits. Use the class tier list, equipment list, and pets and wings.
