War of Genesis: Idle Loot Alliance Raids, World Boss, and Arena
Three Battlefield tabs, one overlay. Join an Alliance, opt into timers, and let Ice Pendragon keep auto-fighting.
Idle Loot is not only a corner mascot. The Battlefield window is where Commanders meet other Commanders without leaving the desktop overlay. Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. Tabs are Arena, World Boss, and Raid. None of them give you a combat hotbar. You opt in, your loadout fights, and the UI tracks Score, Rank, participation rewards, and time remaining.
This is online co-op and PvP sitting on top of a single-hero AFK client. It is not a raid lockout from the 1990s War of Genesis SRPG, and it does not pull your mobile Idle Heroes guild. If you still need a class and a bag habit, finish Getting Started and How to Play first. A full bag will stall you here the same way it stalls Ancient Ruins.
Join an Alliance on purpose
Steam ships an achievement named “Make Way for the New Recruit” for joining an Alliance. That is the developers telling you the social layer is not optional flavor. Alliance Raids are the group PvE tab. You team with alliance members against bosses the store page will not let you solo by staring harder at the overlay.
Pick an Alliance that is actually running content, not a ghost tag. Chat exists. Use it to ask when Raid windows tick. Named characters confirmed in screenshots, Ice Pendragon and Jane Shore, still auto-battle once you are in. Your job is gear, class, and showing up on the timer. Community companion tools can help you theorycraft a Swordsman, Archer, or Mage board; they cannot press Join for you.
Raid tab: Alliance bosses
Open Battlefield, then Raid. Participate once and you earn “A Taste of Raiding.” That is the on-ramp, not the endgame. Bring a legal weapon for your class. A Swordsman cannot use a Hunter Bow just because the Raid loot table looked ranged. Pre-Combine in Equipment Forge so you are not fusing during the window. Fourteen slots, tiers 1 through 6, jewels, pets, wings, runes, and magitech gear all still apply. Raid is a check on the same board you farmed in Tropical Rainforest, not a separate character.
If Raid is greyed out, you are probably Alliance-less, bag-locked, or staring at a launch bug. Login loops and other Early Access gremlins are collected on launch issues. Do not buy a second copy to “fix” a tab.
World Boss: the global pile-on
World Boss is the worldwide tab. Steam’s achievement copy is almost affectionate: “World Boss, Big Bro Is Here” for participating once. You are contributing damage with everyone else on the server, not running a private instance. Time remaining on the window matters more than your APM, because you have no APM.
Treat World Boss as a calendar alarm. Park the overlay, keep the bag clear, and be online for the window. Rewards feed the same inventory that stages fill, so plan a Forge pass afterward. Ranking reward chests have their own trophy line (open 10, 100, then 1,000 Battlefield ranking rewards), which is a hint that showing up repeatedly is the intended loop.
Arena: Score, Rank, participation, timer
Arena is PvP with the same auto-combat rules. The tab shows Score, Rank, a participation reward, and time remaining. You do not outplay someone with a flash parry. You out-gear them, out-tier them, and out-wait them. “The First Win Is Always Thrilling” fires on one win; 100 and 1,000 wins are later trophies. Participation still pays if you are not topping the ladder, so opting in is cheaper than treating Arena as a pride wound.
Paid permanent ATK and DEF buffs exist and will show up here louder than they do on Normal 4-2. That is a real Early Access complaint, not a rumor. Read the Early Access review and the class tier list before you decide the ladder is paywalled beyond your interest. F2P Commanders can still collect participation rewards and spend gold on Training Ground ranks SSS through LR.
Loadout before the timer, not during it
Battlefield does not replace farming. Stages in Ancient Ruins, Underground Prison, Ice Castle, and the rainforest still mint the gear you wear into Raid. Push versus sit is an AFK farming question. If a drop is a duplicate your Alliance does not need, consider a Diamond listing on Steam Marketplace instead of dismantling a piece another Commander would buy.
Preset work and jewel auto-combine are on the roadmap. Until those land, Battlefield is extra menu time on top of Forge. Keep the overlay visible enough to notice a Raid ping, then go back to work.
