War of Genesis: Idle Loot Official Steam News, in order

What New Normal Soft posted. Not discussion-board rumors.

Steam Notices

This page is a Commander-facing timeline of Steam News for War of Genesis: Idle Loot (app 4891320). Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. Fan wikis go stale; Steam News does not. When this list and a Discord screenshot disagree, Steam News wins. Broader Early Access intent lives on the roadmap. Breakage lives on launch issues.

September 2026 notices

2 September — Early Access launch date confirmed. The studio named 10 September as the open day after a stretch of wishlist posts.

9 September — server launch schedule. A follow-up notice repeated the 10 September open with a clock. The originally stated start was 15:00 KST.

10 September — launch postponed one hour. Final checks slipped the open to 16:00 KST. Early Access still began that calendar day. If a streamer said “delayed a week,” they misread a one-hour KST slip.

11 September — Upcoming Content Improvements & Update Roadmap. The studio thanked Commanders, said Early Access “launched smoothly on September 10,” and posted a notice whose title is the roadmap bucket. We do not paste a stolen full bulletin here. Read the original on Steam News for app 4891320. Pair it with the store FAQ directions already summarised on our roadmap: more farming areas and growth stages, economy and trading tune, overlay convenience, deeper progression. Those FAQ bullets may change. They are not patch notes.

Older store-page posts (wishlist/share winners, store-page opening in August) are marketing, not patch notes. They do not change Diamond timers or bag rules.

What the 11 September title does not prove

A notice named “content improvements” is not the same as shipping loadout presets, jewel auto-combine, or Market mailbox retrieval. Community tools and player discussion still expect those. This wiki keeps them in the unconfirmed column until a bulletin names them. Do not sit on a full bag of jewels waiting for auto-combine because of a title. Fuse on jewel fusion if AFK has stalled.

Opening-week rating, not a patch

Steam user reviews sat Mixed in the opening days (about 58% positive, a few hundred reviews — the count moves). That is a mood, not a patch. Paid permanent combat and drop buffs, login loops, unsigned executables, and double-purchase threads all feed it. Hardware and SmartScreen: system requirements. Honest overlay verdict: Early Access review.

How we will add the next row

When Steam News posts again, this page gets a dated bullet with the official title and a one-sentence scope (overlay, Market, billing, anti-cheat, maps). We will not invent patch numbers. We will not copy mobile Idle Heroes notes. Codes, if a coupon field ever exists, go to the codes hub, not here.

Watch Steam News, Discord, and the links hub. Discussion-board “patch when?” threads are not notices.

How Commanders should use this timeline

Read notices in date order, not in viral-clip order. A 10 September delay post does not cancel the 11 September “launched smoothly” thank-you. Both can be true: the clock slipped one hour, then the overlay opened the same day. If you still cannot log in, that is a launch issue, not proof the 11 September title was fake.

When a new bulletin lands, ask four questions before you spend a Diamond:

  1. Does it name overlay UI, Market retrieval, billing, anti-cheat, or maps?
  2. Does it change bag or jewel rules that stall AFK farming?
  3. Does it mention coupons? If yes, copy the string only onto the codes hub after you confirm it is Steam-only.
  4. Does it contradict the store FAQ buckets already listed on the roadmap? If yes, the newer notice wins.

Do not treat Mixed review percentages as a patch. Do not treat Genesis Archive or the unofficial companion as Steam News. Those tools mine client tables; they do not ship features. Keep one main on the class hub, fuse jewels if the bag is full, and come back to this list after the next official title appears.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Did Early Access slip by a week?

No. Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026 after a one-hour KST delay. Timeline is on Steam Notices.

Where is the 11 September roadmap text?

On [Steam News](https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4891320). Our summary of FAQ directions is the roadmap.

Did that notice add jewel auto-combine?

Not as a named, confirmed feature here. Keep fusing on jewel fusion until News says otherwise.

Are wishlist-event posts patch notes?

No. They are store events. Play issues belong on launch issues.

Where do gift codes go?

The codes hub is still empty of confirmed Steam strings.
