War of Genesis: Idle Loot Fan companion planner

A community database for trees, yields, gear, and jewels — unofficial, browser-only, not a cheat client.

Unofficial Companion

An unofficial community companion for War of Genesis: Idle Loot lives at titlee2111.github.io/war-of-genesis-helper. It is a fan browser page. New Normal Soft Inc. did not ship it, does not support it, and does not owe you a fix if a table is wrong after a patch. This wiki links it because Commanders asked for a skill planner and a gear catalog, not because it is part of the Steam install.

If a site promises free Diamonds, auto-battles faster than the server, or a one-click Market snipe, that is not this helper and it is not something we will document.

What the helper is for

Use it as a database plus planner next to the overlay, the same way you would open a spreadsheet:

  • Skill tree planner for the three Steam classes — Swordsman (melee), Archer (ranged), and Mage. Allocate points against a level cap, compare routes, and reset the plan on the page without spending in-game gold. In-client names are Swordsman, Archer, and Mage; if the helper UI says Knight or Ranged, map those labels back to Swordsman and Archer.
  • Stage yield tables for the AFK ladder (community counts put this above 400 stages across chapter difficulties). Sort by gold or EXP per time so you stop camping a dead map. Pair the numbers with the farming guide rather than treating a web table as a live drop seed.
  • Equipment catalog (1,800+ items) covering the fourteen gear slots: weapons, sub-weapons, armor pieces, cloak, and accessories, with tier filters. Use it to identify a drop before you feed the blacksmith or list it using the marketplace guide.
  • Jewel fuse helper that encodes the community fusion rule (six jewels of one tier into the next). It is a calculator for bag pressure, not a replacement for the client. Community tools and player discussion expect jewel auto-combine in a future overlay patch; confirm that on Steam News via the roadmap.

Some builds of the helper also show Training gold curves (Attack, Defense, HP, crit, gold boost, EXP boost). Those tables are still unofficial. Trust an in-game tooltip when the two disagree.

What this page will not document

We will not walk through attaching anything to the running game, inspecting scripts, or “live syncing” the overlay. If you see those words on the helper’s own readme, ignore them for wiki purposes. The safe feature set is: open the web page, plan a tree, look up an item, estimate a fuse. That is the whole endorsement.

Do not run random downloaded HTML as Administrator. Do not paste save files into a Discord bot. Do not pay for a “premium companion” that wraps the same GitHub page.

How to use it with the actual client

  1. Boot Idle Loot from Steam so your Commander exists. Fix SmartScreen or login first using system requirements and launch issues.
  2. Open the helper in a normal browser on the same PC or on your phone.
  3. Plan a Swordsman, Archer, or Mage tree, then spend the points in-game yourself.
  4. When a stage table says a map is efficient, confirm spawn density with your own clear times. Overlay DPS changes when you swap pets and wings; see pets and wings.
  5. When you outgrow the planner, read the class pages and the class tier list for context the catalog cannot hold (raid jobs, Market prices, Alliance needs).

Community-reported folders (%LOCALAPPDATA%Low\Newnormal Soft\War of Genesis Idle Loot\ and the Steam common directory) appear on the helper as path hints. Treat them as the same unofficial paths listed on system requirements. Importing a profile snapshot into a planner is your risk; this wiki does not need that file to explain a skill node.

Accuracy and patches

Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. Drop tables, skill costs, and jewel rules can move in a weekday notice. When Steam News ships a combat patch, wait for the helper’s catalog to catch up, or fall back to in-game tooltips. The updates hub is the patch index; the companion is a mirror that can lag.

Achievements that care about synthesis counts or tier-6 gear still complete in the Steam client, not on the web page. Use the achievements grouping so you do not chase a trophy the planner cannot tick.

Disclaimer, again

War of Genesis: Idle Loot, its icons, and its item names belong to New Normal Soft Inc. and Valve where applicable. The helper is an unofficial, non-profit community project. This fan wiki is also unofficial. Official channels stay on the links hub. If the helper vanishes, your Commander does not: progress is on Steam, not on GitHub Pages.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is the War of Genesis helper official?

No. It is a fan planner. Official news stays on the links hub and Steam News, not on GitHub Pages.

What should I use the companion for?

Skill trees, stage yield tables, the 1,800-plus gear catalog, and jewel fuse math. Start at the companion page and keep spending inside the Steam client.

Will this wiki explain live process sync?

No. We only document the database and planner. For overlay setup see how to play and system requirements.

Does the helper unlock achievements?

No. Trophies track on Steam. Plan the grind with the achievements page, then play.

Can I trust jewel auto-combine in the helper as a shipped feature?

The page is a fuse calculator. Client auto-combine is still a community expectation; confirm it on the roadmap.
