War of Genesis: Idle Loot Guides for Commanders
First hour, overlay play, Equipment Forge, Steam Market, raids, farming, and an honest Early Access review.
War of Genesis: Idle Loot is a free-to-play Steam idle RPG by New Normal Soft Inc. Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. A 3D hero camps on a transparent Windows overlay, clears stages with no combat controls, and rolls gear you can list on the Steam Community Market. This hub maps every how-to we keep current for Commanders on the Steam overlay. Start with the first-hour guide, then branch into Forge, Market, raids, or farming as your bag fills.
This Steam client is not War of Genesis: Idle Heroes. Those titles do not share saves, codes, or cross-play. It is also not Softmax’s 1990s War of Genesis SRPG.
First hour
Start with Getting Started if you just installed. That page covers Windows 10/11 64-bit setup, the unsigned executable warning, picking Swordsman, Archer, or Mage, and why a full bag stalls overnight AFK. Pair it with How to Play so you park the overlay while you work instead of hunting missing WASD binds.
Gear, bag space, and Market
The client labels the station Equipment Forge. YouTube creators often say Blacksmith. Combine same-grade items into the next grade, then Dismantle junk so you never sit on “Not enough bag space.” The Equipment Forge guide walks Auto Register, community-reported jewel fusion, and why a Swordsman cannot equip a Hunter Bow.
The Market window posts to the Steam Community Market, consumes a Diamond, and currently cannot retrieve a listed item. Players report about one Diamond every four hours. One creator sold a Tier 4 sword for a little over $2. That is an anecdote, not a wage. Read Steam Marketplace before you burn a Diamond on a Tier 1 drop.
Raids, stages, and an honest verdict
Open Battlefield for Arena, World Boss, and Raid. Alliance Raids need a roster; Steam ships an achievement for joining. Raids and Arena covers Score, Rank, participation rewards, and why Ice Pendragon or Jane Shore still auto-fight.
Stages run through Ancient Ruins, Tropical Rainforest, Underground Prison, and Ice Castle on Normal, Despair, and Apocalypse. A typical early screenshot is Normal 4-2. AFK farming explains when to push chapters versus sit, plus Training Ground ranks from SSS through LR.
After the overlay is stable, open Training and Growth for Training Ground and Ability Unlock ranks, and Diamonds before you burn the four-hour drip on a junk listing.
Steam reviews sat Mixed in the opening days. Paid permanent ATK, DEF, EXP, gold, and drop buffs exist. Login loops, an unsigned exe, and double-purchase reports showed up immediately. Our Early Access review is neither a hit piece nor a puff piece. Bugs: launch issues. Hardware: system requirements. Rankings: class tier list, equipment tiers, class hub.
