War of Genesis: Idle Loot Opening-week ranks, not gospel
Classes, 14-slot gear, and collectibles ranked with Early Access uncertainty.
Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. These lists are opening-week guidance, not a frozen ladder. The game is still tuning drops, loadouts, and group content. If a Discord screenshot contradicts this hub tomorrow, believe the patch, not the S-tier letter.
Split the work across three pages:
- Class ranks — Swordsman, Archer, and Mage by AFK clear, bosses, and Arena.
- Equipment ranks — 14 slots, tiers 1–6, class-locked weapons, and what to fuse versus list.
- Pets, wings, runes, and magitech — collectible tracks proved by achievements through tiers 4–6.

How we rank during Early Access
Combat is automatic. Rank still exists because the auto-caster reads a class tab, a weapon family, and slotted stats. We do not publish a single S–F column that pretends AFK stages, World Boss, Alliance Raids, and Arena want the same kit. We also do not invent pet names, skill names, or Jane Shore’s class.
Evidence we cite:
- In-game labels: Swordsman, Archer, Mage.
- Class-locked weapons (Hunter Bow refused on melee).
- Steam achievements for character, equipment, accessory, wing, pet, rune, and magitech tiers 4–6, plus skill levels 35 / 65 / 95 and user levels 10 / 40 / 70 / 100.
- Community datamine and companion catalogs that list 1,800+ items across 14 slots.
- Steam reviews: switching characters currently means re-setting weapons and skills.
Evidence we will not fake: a pet bestiary, a settled Arena win-rate, or a claim that Ice Pendragon is a fourth class. Ice Pendragon is a named hero on the class window. Jane Shore is shown next to Arena. The Lv.70 roster face (dark hair, red scarf) stays unnamed here.
What to invest in first
- Lock a main on class ranks before Training gold.
- Put legal weapons in the class tab; stash locked drops for blacksmith or the Steam Marketplace.
- Climb equipment tiers 1–6 on the 14-slot grid; accessories matter when tier 4 trophies appear.
- Treat pets, wings, runes, and magitech as parallel collectibles, not a reason to reroll.

We rank them by role: AFK clear, bosses, and Arena. A class that sweeps stages may lag on World Boss. Details are on class ranks, with kits on the Classes Hub.

Do you name the best pet?
No. Achievements prove pet, wing, rune, and magitech tiers 4–6 exist. We do not invent specimen names. See pets, wings, runes, and magitech.
Should I copy a mobile War of Genesis tier list?
No. Idle Heroes is a different client. Start from Getting Started, not from phone rosters.
