War of Genesis: Idle Loot Named heroes and roster slots

Portraits you equip sit on a class tab. They are not a fourth class.

Character Roster

War of Genesis: Idle Loot has three combat labels — Swordsman, Archer, Mage — and a pile of named portraits that sit on those labels. Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. Community databases such as Genesis Archive count on the order of 33 characters mined from client tables. This wiki only names portraits we can show from official screenshots. We will not invent a 33-row gacha bible from another War of Genesis game.

Class kits stay on Swordsman, Archer, and Mage. Rankings stay on the class tier list. This page is the roster desk.

Confirmed portraits

Official Steam screenshots show:

  • Ice Pendragon — white hair, plate, gauntlets. The character window lists Base Attack Power, Base Defense, and Base HP next to the three class tabs. Treat Ice Pendragon as a named hero you equip. The class is still whichever tab is selected.
  • Jane Shore — red hair, shown beside the Battlefield / Arena panel. That shot does not show the class tab, so this wiki does not assign her Swordsman, Archer, or Mage.
  • A Lv.70 roster slot with dark hair and a red scarf. Unnamed here until an official string is visible in a screenshot or achievement.

If a companion app prints more names, confirm the string in your client before you spend Training gold on it. Softmax-era or Idle Heroes hero lists are a different product. See Idle Loot vs Idle Heroes.

Slots, levels, and tiers

The equipped panel shows extra character rows unlocking around user Lv.70 / 80 / 90. Steam achievements prove character tiers 4, 5, and 6 exist (“A New Face, A Serious Force,” “Definitely the Main Character,” “A Legend Came Calling”). User-level trophies sit at 10 / 40 / 70 / 100. Those gates are account growth, not a fourth class.

You can change characters once for the achievement “How About This One?” without turning the alt into a second gold sink. A first-days Steam review is the pain point: switching characters currently means re-setting weapons and skills because there are no character-specific loadouts. Community discussion expects presets; confirm on Steam News via the roadmap.

What the roster does not change

Class-locked weapons still fire. A Swordsman toast refuses Hunter Bow. Wooden Quiver can hit the same lock. Named heroes do not bypass that. Park the bow in storage or send it toward the Steam Marketplace if your main is melee.

Pets, wings, runes, and magitech gear have their own tiers 4–6. They are collectibles, not extra portraits. Rank them on pets, wings, runes, and magitech. Jewels fuse on a different desk — jewel fusion.

Community catalogs list 1,800+ equipment rows across 14 slots. Genesis Archive also advertises 400 stages, drop rates, and a combat calculator built from client tables. Those tools are unofficial. Disclaimer lives on the companion page and the links hub.

How to spend on a portrait

  1. Lock the class tab on the class hub.
  2. Confirm the portrait name in the client, not in a mobile wiki.
  3. Spend Training gold only after you intend to keep that tab.
  4. Leave Diamonds for listings or a later growth click — Diamonds.

Do not copy a Genesis War or Idle Heroes tier list onto this roster. Those games share an IP mood, not this overlay’s save file.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Ice Pendragon a fourth class?

No. Ice Pendragon is a named hero on the three tabs. Read Swordsman for that window.

What class is Jane Shore?

Official shots do not show her class tab. This wiki does not guess. Compare kits on the class hub.

How many characters are in Idle Loot?

Community databases count around 33. We only name portraits visible in official screenshots on this roster.

Do I keep gear when I swap heroes?

Opening-week reviews say you rebuild weapons and skills. Presets are not confirmed; see the roadmap.

Are Idle Heroes characters in this game?

No shared saves or codes. Details on Idle Loot vs Idle Heroes.
