War of Genesis: Idle Loot Jewels, fusion, and bag space

Gems drop while you AFK. Fusion is a chore until the studio says otherwise.

Jewel Fusion

Stages in War of Genesis: Idle Loot drop weapons, armor, and gems. Steam Early Access began 10 September 2026. Jewels fill the same bag that stalls AFK when it prints “Not enough bag space.” This page is the fusion desk. Equipment Combine still lives on Equipment Forge. Pets and wings are a different collectible track on pets and wings.

What we can say from the client and achievements

The store pitch names gems next to weapons and armor. The Forge window you see in official screenshots is Combine and Dismantle for equipment of the same grade. Jewels are extra pressure on inventory, not a second Combine tab we will invent.

Steam achievements do not title a “fuse 6 jewels” trophy the way they title synthesis and dismantle counts. That means the exact fuse ratio is community-reported, not a trophy string. Community companion tools describe this rule: six jewels of the same tier fuse into the next tier, and same-type is not required. Helper UIs expose checkboxes for tiers 1 through 7 so you can protect high gems. Phrase it that way. If your client shows a different count after a patch, believe the client.

Why jewels matter in the opening week

A full bag stops the overlay. Jewels are small, numerous, and easy to ignore while you chase a Tier 4 weapon. Then Training, Raids, and Market all wait because combat paused. The practical loop:

  1. Let stages run — AFK farming
  2. Combine or Dismantle junk gear — Equipment Forge
  3. Fuse or warehouse jewels so the bag has room
  4. Only then spend a Diamond on a listing

Community tools also talk about deposit and withdrawal queues between bag and personal warehouse. Use that if the client offers storage. Do not install a third-party clicker to “auto fuse” by injecting the process. This wiki will not document hooks. The unofficial companion is a planner and a catalog, not a bot.

Auto-combine versus your hands

Community tools and player discussion expect jewel auto-combine as Early Access quality-of-life, next to loadout presets. The 11 September Steam News item is titled Upcoming Content Improvements & Update Roadmap. Until that notice (or a later one) names auto-combine, keep fusing by hand. The roadmap keeps that line in the unconfirmed bucket on purpose.

Do not hold every gem “for auto-combine next week.” A stalled bag tonight is a real loss of gold and drops. Fuse low tiers. Protect the highest gem you actually socket.

Jewels are not Diamonds and not Relics

Diamonds list Market items or buy growth. Relic purchases have their own achievement chain (10 / 100 / 200 Relic buys). Jewels are drop-fusion. Mixing the three is how Commanders overspend. Relic grinding belongs with achievements. Diamond choices belong on Diamonds.

Class still gates the weapon you socket toward. A Swordsman will not wear Hunter Bow no matter how many jewels you fuse. Lock the tab on the class hub before you treat gems as a build.

If a site promises a jewel generator, close it. If Steam News ships auto-combine, this page will say so in the next edit. Until then, six-to-one is a community rule you verify in your own Forge.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do I fuse jewels in Equipment Forge?

Gear Combine is the Forge. Jewel fusion is a separate pile that still clogs the bag. See Equipment Forge for Combine and Dismantle.

Is the six-jewel rule official?

It is community-reported from companion tools. Confirm in your client. Background sits on this jewel fusion page.

Is jewel auto-combine in the game yet?

Not as a confirmed Steam News feature. Track it on the roadmap.

Should I list jewels on the Steam Market?

Only if the client lets that item type list and you can spare a Diamond. Rules: Steam Marketplace.

Will fusion stop my AFK run?

A full bag will. Fuse or store gems so farming can continue overnight.
